Our faculty includes doctors who developed technologies and treatments that have helped define the field of oncology. Our renowned specialists provide both comprehensive multi-specialty evaluations and a comprehensive array of treatments. They use the most advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies available for fighting cancer. We evaluate new and existing treatments on an ongoing basis to stay highly informed of their effectiveness, technique refinements and new developments. In addition to our services for prostate, kidney, bladder, breast, lung, brain and testicular cancer, we offer extensive services for other problems. The Cancer Center of Irvine takes a strong team approach to maximize the quality of care for each patient. Patients benefit not only from the expertise of individual specialists but from our collective experience treating cancer for 30 years. This breadth and depth of knowledge has proven invaluable in our success in the fight against cancer. Each patient is unique. We allow 1-2 hours for initial consultations to have plenty of time for gathering information and answering questions. We want to learn not just your history and condition but who you are, what’s important to you and how you want your diagnosis and treatment to proceed. Our multidisciplinary teams work attentively to guide and support you throughout treatment. We make patient comfort our top priority. This means not only symptom management but also providing a friendly, comfortable environment—we love our work and we love where we work. It also means ensuring patients and families have all the information they need to feel comfortable with the entire treatment process, from diagnosis to post-treatment care and follow-up. We pay attention to every part of the patient experience. We create a warm and beautiful environment, know every patient by name, and ready rooms before you arrive to minimize wait times. We even have iPod docking stations in every treatment room so you may enjoy your own music during treatment. |
